Worship Ministry Guidelines

 

1. Pray:   Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

2. Be in the Word:   Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your heart to God. Colossians 3:16

3. Come with a good attitude:   To be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:23-24

4. Come ready to worship:   God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. John 4:24

 5. Come in properly attired:   Please no shorts or jeans. We also should dress modestly, with decency and propriety appropriate for men and women who profess to worship God. 1 Timothy 2:9a and 2:10b

6. Attendance:   Attending Sunday School, Morning and Evening Services faithfully.

7. Rotation:   As the Worship Ministry grows there may need to be a member rotation.

 8. Be prompt:   Worship practice  is one hour before Sunday School and at 5:00 pm before evening service. Please be ready to run through the worship set at that time.

9. The Platform and sanctuary:   And He said to them, " It is written My house shall be called a house of prayer" Matt 21:13   "A minister in the sanctuary, and in the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man" Heb 8:2, Therefore I believe when entering into the sanctuary or the platform we must have a high respect for Gods house and the foot of the alter. 

10. Member:   Attending Living Word Fellowship for at least six months and seeking church membership.
